WHO I AM
Hi, this is Justin speaking… 
I'm a third-year student studying Design and Human-Computer Interaction at UC San Diego, where I'm exploring how technology and design can make everyday experiences more intuitive.
Most recently at AAA, I reimagined the user experience of their Discounts product to make deal discovery more intuitive, redemption more seamless, and membership value more visible to AAA Members.
MY DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
Designing so you don't have to think twice 
I believe that the best designs anticipate what users need before they have to ask. These are the three design principles that drive my work:
Clarity
Clear enough to seem effortless
Intention
Thoughtful enough to feel intentional
Aesthetic
Visually engaging enough to enjoy.
WHY DESIGN?
Making people's days easier, and a little more enjoyable! 
For me, design is about making everyday experiences a little better. Whether that means turning a frustrating task into one that feels effortless or creating posters that fill a blank wall on campus, I love that design can create an “Ohhh, that makes sense” moment or simply get someone to stop, look, and appreciate what’s in front of them.
MY DESIGN COMMUNITIES
Where I grew my design roots 
These communities gave me some of my first opportunities to explore design beyond the classroom—from working with nonprofits to developing professionally and helping bring student design events to life.
But more importantly, they introduced me to people who continue to shape how I create (as well as some of my closest friends!)
