Hi, this is Justin speaking…
I'm a third-year student studying Design and Human-Computer Interaction at UC San Diego, where I focus on intertwining technology, visual communication, and a people-first mindset.

Designing so you don't have to think twice 
I believe that the best designs anticipate what users need before they have to ask. The standard I try to design toward:
Clarity
Clear enough to seem effortless
Intention
Thoughtful enough to feel intentional
Aesthetic
Visually engaging enough to enjoy.
WHY DESIGN?
Striving to make people's days a little easier, and a little more enjoyable! 
For me, design is ultimately about making people's lives a little better.
How a confusing process can become easier. An everyday frustration can become less of one. A blank wall on campus can become something that makes someone stop and smile.
I love that design gives me the opportunity to create those small moments of improvement to people. Ultimately, I hope to have my designs touch and resonate with as many people as I can.
MY DESIGN COMMUNITIES
Where I became a designer 
These communities gave me my first opportunities to explore design beyond the classroom—from developing professionally, to working with nonprofits, to leading behind-the-scenes efforts at a design sprint.
But more importantly, they introduced me to people who continue to shape how I create and grow, whom I now call my best friends!
